try the one of your ktm380 if you still have they fit yz250h not ideal for 490 as just suitable for 250

when you get it on the bike I do the final adjustments by putting a texta mark on the rod between the 2 brake arms and rotate it in small amounts in or out checking each time the hand brake lever for sponginess when ok the lever will be firm you will feel it improve when your going the right way .

the front mounts have to be moved ,I did the ones on the frame drilled out spot welds then repositioned

mikuni make a main jet extender piece that screws into needle jet before main jet  there on ebay

hi john

I recently did the squish on a 77 yz400 ,as it ran ok before this, the amount removed from the dome of head was the same as removed to get a 1mm squish. but it pinged real bad ,so I read up about it and checked comp ratio .it ended up being 22 to 1
,Shane ended up fixing for us he had to remove 18cc extra from what I had done, now its a rocket.

no 490 has external flywheel,250 is internal

hi all

looking for the metal part that the coils slide into, only need one side but will happily take both if any were available.
they seem to be just for 84 model possibly 83 is the same or 125 .the measurement between 2 mounting holes is 86mm.
if anyone has a faulty stator there not using can you please message with price.
