Anyone had any success with the above carb on honda xl 350... if so do you have a jetting start point ?

Davy,  I run a Dellorto PHM 38 on my 412. It came off a BMW R90. The bike runs so well I've never had the carb apart to check the specs. Starts first kick, idles like a trail bike but goes like buggery. No bog, no hesitation, just pulls really strong from bottom to top.

Suzuki TS185 ER......1982 model.

Missing  tank,sidecover,front wheel/brake.......Been sitting for ages in back of shed.

Put some fuel in it and kicked in the guts and in typical TS fashion it fired right up.......selects all gears

Comes with special Factory Victa racing gas tank.

$350.....or swap for tidy XL350 centreport motor.....or maybe aircooled mx motor for KLX evo project.

They look useable to me......I think they'd scrub up okay.....can't see any cracks anywhere.

YZ100F........$150.

Frame is missing top rear motor mounts....rear hub broken....some parts missing...some parts shagged.

I travel to Melbourne once a month and can leave the bike in Vermont for pickup......Also travel to Cann River weekly and can leave bike there for pickup.....Cheer's Greg.

Before I advertise my bike I thought I'd put it on here to see if anyones interested in doing a swap.

Honda XR650R  2003 model
19,700 km

Bike has Chad's Offroad Suspension setup for 90-100 kg rider.
Comes with big tank, rack, original road gear, spares and suspension parts.
Reliable well maintained bike. I've owned it for five years and used it for adventure touring.

I thought as much but wasn't sure. I've searched the net but have found detailed Rickman info hard to come by.

Firko I have not sighted the frame yet so don't know the year.......but am told it's a Rickman/Zundapp.....enduro with the extra sump rails.

Not too worried about the pre 70 thing. I'll build up a pre 75 frankenbike......wedge a ridiculously powerfull donk into it and go see if I can hurt myself....

I have an XS650 motor sitting in the shed. Been looking at the Wasp/Rickman copy frames and would love to build up a bike using one of these frames.I'd probably road register it but it would be great if I could slip in a race meet now and then.

Am I right in thinking I could race this in the pre 70 class??
