Thanks Bazza,Wasn't sure if they had steel or Alloy.Hopefully Now,I'll pick some nice Honda XL rims
up without the cracks and corrosion.Saw one on Gumtree looked OK.
Thanks BigK , I'm keen on your forks, axle and plastics.
Ross asked why not go aftermarket, I found you can't get the correct
Reproduction colour in the plastic and have to paint to match. So if yours are
Repairable I'm keen.
I do have a set of fork tubes I was told they're Cr250m 73/74.They have the 5 rings turned into the top
But they seem a little long. The tubes measure 578mm long. They're out of the slider thats the shaft itself top to bottom.
And they're 35mm diameter as they're meant to be.
Thanks guys any info would help.

If you know of or have an RH 250 73 or 74 and want
To let someone else enjoy it.Please Contact me.
I do have a nice RH 250 1975 in mid restoration and it seems
a bit lonely without its older brother to hang out with.

Basket cases,Mid restos,I'm still interested
Thanks

Wanted / Re: TM125

I been lookin for a TM seat locally for a year.
Ended up getting a RM250/125 1976/78 seat.
You get a plastic seat base. That dont rust or crack
Like the steel base. You do have to modify the rear mounts a
little or make new ones from alloy as I did. The  cosmetic difference
is the Kick-up at the rear of the seat,I think it looks good. And the cover.

For Sale / Re: PVL ignition suit CR125M 1974/78 $450
« on: February 17, 2016, 09:42:02 pm »
Yeah it physically fits yes ,I read though,
The CR250m is uses a fixed points system.Where the CR125M uses the retard and advanced timing provided by its CDI map. The CR250M's port timing and low compression are not designed for this ignition CDI mapping.Yes it would work but I would lose power towards the top end revs as it advances. Then I thought the 75 CR250M1 has CDI ,but read that it had different port timing and higher compression to suit its new CDI ignition in 1975. So I wanted the correct CDI map.I wish it wasn't that way I would bolt it on now.
So when I sell it I'll buy another. If ya can point out my research is wrong, It would save me some headaches
