I wouldn’t be to worried about the frame as it is just wasting away under my house.
Just out of interest what changes to steering head are you planning to do? I was unaware of any!
The frame is in Canberra

2) 1975-76 Kawasaki KX250 gear change pedal

Let me guess, putting 2 and 2 together the bike to pick up is a Kawasaki knight framed flat tracker?
I have a 1974 KX125 to pick up in Melbourne also, I will be picking it up when I go down for the Melbourne round of the world speedway titles. If that's any help?
