Hey Jimson,

Much appreciated, but the diaphragm comes with the slide as a whole unit, it's not a single replaceable piece.

Yep XR originally on the seat cover although that has now deteriorated and is just plane blue recovered, in one of the videos from Braidwood there's a pic

Hey Smed,

I have an 83 Compliance XR250, the only difference from the 81 and 82 is the seat cover is blue otherwise all drums and all the same.

I recall doing a ride in about 91 or 92 and there were two brothers that had compliant YZ250 and CR250, they were both actually quite fast riders which made them stand out, as was the headlight and taillight on their bikes, they also did argue a lot amongst each other, I was amazed they were road worthy at that time and never thought any more about it, until 25 years later reading this post.
