Howdy. Looking at doing the forks for a mate's PE175T and cant find a manual for it anywhere. Can anyone tell me what weight and volume in each fork leg please?

Heh, there is a thread on another forum specifically for Yam ITs that is not overly nice to Pyramid Parts because they are poo.

My last interaction with them I tried to get fork seals for an IT175G. Spent ages chatting online with them, guaranteed me the right parts. Nope. Not even close. I just took the hit as I had to pay return shipping, and will continue to heap scorn on them forever more.

Wemoto are good though.

It will only make the models rarer when the countershaft breaks.

First bike I ever bought, and still have it. It looks a little sadder these days.

Played with the exhaust port until it could only be push started when I was a kid. I do have a new cylinder and piston for it thought and plan to do something with it at some point.

Did that with a mate who was new to bikes. Used his new socket set from bunnings in my 20 ten press and made it into a washer.

In my experience, there are few who take it seriously enough to require MoMS referenceing.

Not taking away from the guys who do take it seriously, more power to their arm, but if the average punter with an old dunger out for a ride with his mates gets short shifted, I can see a negative outcome.

Yes, I know we are mobile roadblocks and may impact your time, but it isnt racing for sheepstations.

Rare Spares sells loom tape which is shiny but not sticky. Sort of staticly sticks to itself but allows wire movement.

Deepest condolences Jimson.

I found myself in a similar spot last year as I lost both my parents within 6 months. Both relatively healthy at Christmas 2016, Dad walked into hospital on Jan 1, died Jan 4. Mum June 21.

Certainly makes you take stock of where you are where you are going and more importantly, why.

I would class myself as incredibly lucky based on the stupid things I did in my teens and early twenties that could have resulted in an early demise. Paying with a little wear and tear now but in a pretty good spot, and I guess where I envisaged myself when I was a kid. Self employed ( read unemployable ) with a great wife and great kids.

Still messing around with old dirt bikes despite not having any skill in the riding of them.

Still have shit days. Need to get out bush more on my first ever new bike, but time doesn't permit. Spend most of the good bits of your life working hard for a rainy day only to be unable to enjoy the fruits of your labour when it rains.

I have no answers.
