For Sale / 1973 CZ 250 - project bike

1973 CZ 250 with five speed MX gearbox in Enduro crankcases (identical to MX cases), Falta ‘74 single spark plug head, Suzuki electronic ignition, Renthal bars, custom alloy tank, Morris pipe, Hagon shocks, alloy rims with new tyres, 34mm Mikuni carb.
 
Bought in QLD in 2010, advertised with new bottom end, new piston and bore, run for less than 1 hour.

Running rough at the moment – having some type of carby issue, and don’t have time to sort out before moving in March – priced to sell.

(Also selling another '73 CZ 250 (race-ready with a CR Performance newly rebuilt engine ($5200), a '79 Yami YZ 250F ($2900), and a CZ 400 engine and pipe ($1400). View elsewhere on this site...  Also may be persuaded to part with my '84 Yami IT200.)

Reluctantly parting with most of my VMX bikes due to over-crowded shed.     Top quality 1973 CZ 250 motocross race bike – ready to go.

Bought in VIC in 2010 as a 400, but wanted to race in the more competitive Pre-75 250 class.  Engine entirely new: CR High Performance (US) porting and tuning, new top and bottom end, new clutch, bearings, seals – only run for 1 hour.
 
CR High Performance pipe, DH reed valve (available pre-75, so allowed for VMX), 36mm Mikuni, Geoff Morris Concepts frame, electronic ignition, alloy tank (it has a few dings), alloy front clamps (will include the original clamps), forks just revolved with new seals, wide pegs, hi-grip seat cover, IKON or YSS shocks (you pick), documentation (including original manual)…

Can convert to Pre-75 Open-class race bike with my 400 engine, interchangeable sprockets and Morris pipe ($1400).

For Sale / 1979 Yamaha YZ 250F

Reluctantly parting with some of my VMX holdings due to over-crowded shed.   

$2900.

Hard to find original F model: tank, engine, plastics... Very competitive in the Evo 250 VMX class. New reed valves, sprockets, chain, guides, DG pipe and muffler, wide pegs, new fork seals.

I started to recondition the tank, and stopped, due so the decals are only temporarily attached.  Suggest getting someone to sand back more, apply decals (after perforating), and clear coat. Other than that, ready to race.
