Hi Dennis (& fellow VTR members)

Looks like another great event.  Well done!!

You asked me to take a photo of a VTR shirt being worn overseas, so here you go:

We are all doing it Just for the FUN .......

Ride for to 2 days Camp with a Hot showers and Toilets all for under $100 ..

.

Strongly support Vinduro as an alternative activity.  In particular, events organised by the VTR team.

The VTR organisers are great folk who have thought long and hard about developing a winning formula which involves leaving your attitude at the gate and being prepared to have a lot of fun with people who pull up beside you on the track and ask "are you OK?".  A one camp fire policy guards against cliques developing and allows everyone to gather together at the end of the day to share their experiences of the day's riding.  A good sign is the increasing number of families participating in the events (great to see a dad following his daughters around the loop).  As mentioned, hot showers and portable toilets allow members to freshen up at the end of the day.  Simple rules apply regarding your steed: no rear disc brakes; no upside down front forks; and a headlight (doesn't need to be functioning).  Everything from a humble Suzuki ER185 to an exotic Euro thumper can be seen on the loop at any event.  In sum, a great place to meet wonderful people seeking to enjoy life in a positive way.

All the best to fellow VTR members for 2017.

That would make a great big brother to my 85' 250 but I would have to sell the 510 to afford it.

Did you buy another XR250?
