Yamaha YZ 80 K

22w frame 5X engine.
Complete bike with all new plastic set.
Engine currently being overhauled, new top end rebuild @ March 2015. Will get more new parts (& higher price) with time.

Was  totally disassembled, cleaned, oiled, repainted & reassembled during crossy, as above am now working on engine.

$900.

best option re side panels for the 'D' is VMXunlimited Australia or DC plastics USA. the DC components are the real deal with exact point drilled holes and grommet placings. from my experience with 'D' projects, the right side was usually melted from exhaust so will be hard to get originals for this bike. TIP:- wrap exhaust in heatproof wrap available from most engineering/welder shops.

For Sale / 1977 Yamaha YZ 400 D For Sale

Yamaha 1977 YZ400 D.
Matching engine and frame numbers with all original components.
Recent top-end rebuild(0.25 OS piston & rings) + new brakes, bottom end overhaul in 2011.

This YZ was originally purchased from W.A. in 1977 and still has original guards with dealership transfer. Bike is stored most of the time and ridden about 3 times a year on my farm when crops are harvested from my track/paddock. Does not get jumped at all.

Nice ride with heaps of compression and always starts readily. Recently dismantled, cleaned, greased and reassembled.
Photos of any part of this bike may be provided by request to your phone.
Delivery can be arranged within range at a reasonable price.

Reluctant sale and selling to pay (expensive) house renovation.

$3300 ono.

Have a YZ400D motor & matching numbers frame with most bits for sale.
This motor has new piston, rings, LE bearing and brand new barrell (purchased from UK)
Motor has been running for about 10 minutes since rebuild.

To finish this bike needs: mudguards, hand-levers, throttle, seat foam/cover, chain & front sprocket, silencer.
asking $1700
