In order to comply with Vicroads standards for a UVP to be issued for
unregistered bikes at our upcoming event, these are the requirements the bike will be need to meet at scrutineering prior to the bike being able to be ridden at the event.
As they are the requirements established by Vicroads to comply with the permit, they are not negotiable.

Brakes fitted to both wheels, capable of working independently if one brake fails
One head lamp
One rear red tail lamp
One rear red brake lamp (Can work of either foot pedal or brake lever)
One rear white number plate lamp (Clear section of tail light lens)
A silencing device which restricts the noise level to 94 dBA or less
An appropriate horn or warning device.
A chain guard that protects the rider from the front chain sprocket.
