Hey guys,  sorry if im missing or ignoring somthing thats written up in a faq or somthing like that (i cant find anything and i have looked)

Just wondering what competition could i enter myself and my 1985 kx 125 into? im not really in the vintage scene (allthough i have been to a vcm race and competed on my pitbike) not that i would call the kx vintage anyway

i have changed the oil.. the bike was great fun to ride in the bush i think i may want to sell it though as because im not working and the cash would get my fast 50 back up and running.. however if it was monoshock i would keep it to have a bash every now and again at frankston :)..
i do have the expertise and the time at the moment but not the money :) it was heaps of fun being forced to punch it up a large hill climb at wot to keep it in band but im coming up to my bike learners so i either need a 2t learners bike or get a xt600 or somthing and rebuild it so i dont think i can justify spending that sort of money on a bike i probably wont race much

does anyone think i could get 800 for it? because that would go directly to my 50  race bike (pitbike) with a good clean up and proper selling video?

nah sorry i did not explain very well, the gearbox area was overflowing because someone overfilled it to help seal up the crank seal so the oil went a little milky when fuel leaked into the gearbox.. thats why i have to crack the cases to replace the seal

Up for sale from melbourne PM for more details or questions
Its a great bike for vmx infact thats why i bought it.. on the 1st day of riding it ran well for a while then died on me, i came home to find no air filter and overfilled gearbox oil (was also milky)
so how does the bike stand at the moment? the engine is in parts (i have not split the case yet) the bore and piston (0.25 over) is in perfect condition and i have purchased some rings and the only parts it needs is gudgeon pin with small end bearing and some crank seals
here is a video of it

i would like  to see 500 for it.. it will be a little sad but hey i could use the money for my other bikes and this is just sitting around when it could be raced.

im pretty set on 500 (perfect for the other parts i would like to buy for my race bike) but offers may be considered just dont expect to get the bike immediately or at all..

& and if you want to see pics of the cases open i can do that right after i purchase a impact driver to finish splitting the cases
