My 2 cents worth!Personally i like
pre 90s as its my era, but when i got into VMX i soon found out that if i got one. i would have nowhere to go.As i really like HBBB and CD style events, i was left with no option but  to buy a pre 85 bike.
If HBBB and CD change to pre 90s then  i would sell my 84,s in a heartbeat.

hi guys, sorry to sidetrack this thread but can anyone clear up some bike rules for me.
I have an 84 CR125 which i know has 86-88 cartridge forks as the originals were farked, will this be an issue in regards to eligibility in the pre 85s?

Honda / CR500 84 JETTING

Anyone got any decent jetting specs for this model,i find it  really rich of the bottom making it really hard to ride out of tight corners.
It has the standard jetting.

Honda / Re: 84 CR 500 - How much fork oil
« on: October 15, 2012, 09:45:42 am »
Rcaetech recommend 15w f/o and 120mm from the top.
I tried this setting out but used 10w and found it was rebounding a little to quick with the heavier
forksprings i am using.I think i will try 15w soon.

well i got in contact with the guy that has done this mod and he is safe and well and out of hospital!
He asures me that this mod is all good, just grind away the pointy end of the mount till the peg folds up.
