As said earlier just move the forks in the triples, I have a 77 and it handles great on dirt track.
Also have a couple of 77 dt's, 250 has the original fork and the 400 has the leading axle forks and are totaly different animals in the handling dep.

Well I have always tried to take up every opportunity, especially as far as recreation goes, be it planned or one of those spontanious events.
And as a result have had a fantastic life.
There have been a lot of stuff that I have brushed of to do a mundane task like home maintenance or generally getting some shit together which in most cases has led to dissapointment.
I could not say how many times I have told myself that racing sucks as I prepare machines for the upcoming weekend , only to come home with a smile on my face and preparing the same machines with joy the next week.
I guess you have to just be happy with the dish that you serve yourself.
If you know what I mean?

Put the struts on and get out there, its a hard track to master but the good thing about the Bonanza is if you are really keen you should be able to get a couple of hundred laps in.

For Sale / Wiseco - Yamaha 250 pistons

I have 2 Wiseco pistons that I bought recently but are not suited to my needs.
They are 234 P6 which is 1.5mm os, with rings 2815LC which are the "L" shaped variety, which according to the Wiseco book will suit yamaha 250's DT, MX, IT YZ from 73 to 78.
Piston and rings in the box.
$160 each posted or $150 each if you can pick them up.
Payment by deposit or paypal
I am near Swansea but I am working in Newcastle and the Thornton area.

Flogged down friday track uder water at turn 1, bog hole to get to the pits on sat morn, track pumped dry, came out awesome by 2pm, And away we go for a great arvo and night of racing, Sunday the same, some of us had shockers mechanically while others shined. Great weekend all round, thanks to the club and sponsors, hopefully its on again next year.
