British (BSA, Greeves, Triumph etc) / Are these motors useful?

A friend has come across a BSA motor in a swing saw. Are they any good or useful for spare parts?

Here is another one on the way that has a red frame. It's made out of all the spare parts from the other builds and will take a while to complete.
Things that have been done to it:
- strip and paint frame
- clutch rebuild
- cylinder hone
- top end rebuild
- engine paint
- strip and repaint triples, pegs and spring
- lots of cleaning
- plenty of substitute parts as it is not for show.
- new seat cover
- new plastics
- lots of cleaning.....

I took a look at several G and H air boxes, both for YZ125s and IT175s, that I have and it confirms that there are two different lock nut styles. G's thread onto a fixed bolt coming out of the box bracket and H's have a threaded arrangement as per #18 above.
In either case, the cage and hence the air filter are the same.
