It seems if you weren't overjoyed with this decision  (not even being aware aware that it was being proposed), the way it was swept in with no discussion beforehand and you actually dare to air your veiws, then you get THE telephone call.

  like I said, if you're prepared to be "that bloke" then there is a path of recourse...

So let me be the first to poke the bear Does the follow on models rule still exist? Can someone now ride a 1994 TT350 as it identical to the 1986 model in every way other than livery??

It's pretty simple, be as progressive and inclusive as possible without totally losing the concept and mantra of what the club was formed with, then it continues to flourish.
 
Or

Stick with all the current rules and formats because "that's how it is" and eventually all your customers die off and the club ceases someday (probably quite a while) down the line.

I've sold an old (not large!) road bike on eBay this afternoon and the fella wants it transported to Sydney. I can drag it up to Harrow and pass it over to you there if you're interested. As per the title I will also hand you $200 for your troubles and to help with your travel costs. FYI the bike needs to go somewhere near Cronulla according to the buyer.

A) 5k
B) 10k
C) 15k
E) 20k

Surely you would be able to at least nominate one of the above figures from where discussions could commence...

As above will be doing this as a day trip, have an empty ute going to Sale and a half empty ute coming back, if anyone needs anything to or from these areas let me know and we could work something out.

I have an IT125G shock with YZ125X spring. It will bolt in and give you a bit more travel.
I can bring it to Bonnie Doon. Yours free if you want to try it.

To buy and restore a bike to that standard with OEM parts sourced patiently from all over the world would cost at least 5-6k, if you were paying someone hourly for the resto would your labour bill would far exceed 1-2k. If you've got the money but not the time and/or knowledge I'd say 7k is a bargain!!!

Does anyone happen to have the above in good nic?? Realistically looking for a direct swapout motor before I bother considering a full rebuild. I wouldn't bother with a lot of other bikes but considering it's probably one of the most common engines on the planet I thought it's worth a shot
