Hi all, after talking to several people Brad Lewis's name keeps coming up for info or parts for my 504. Would anyone have his number? I understand he's in Inverell?

Cheers

Wanted / Wanted XT600e clutch basket
« on: June 06, 2016, 01:09:55 pm »
Gents I'm after a XT600e (electric start) clutch basket, just the basket I have no need for the other clutch parts, it has 71 teeth on the gear drive and should be stamped 5Y1.

This is all that's stopping this engine from running :'(

G'day Groover Rod, there is no charge for camping or for spectators, it's BYO everything. We will have toilets on site, but no running water or catering. The pub has good meals, or you can Bar-B-Q your own food at our great camping spot next to the flowing creek. Camping is from Friday night.
The course is basically being run in reverse from our last ride, I've deleted some of the previous sections and have put in some new tracks, one track in particular hasn't been ridden in over 20 years. I'm yet to clear it, but it looks promising. Overall it will be a little bit tighter than previously but it should flow very well and I'm looking forward to getting the Husky out and ripping into it. We look forward to catching up with you all on the 15th and 16th.
Lawrie   ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Lawrie, see you there ;D

Hey groovers, I am looking at going and spectating, so have a couple of question. What are the camping cost/arrangements and is there a cost for spectators? Will food/drinks be available?

Thanks< I'll keep searching the web for more info :)

General Discussion / Re: Cost of Postage from US and other places
« on: January 04, 2014, 12:24:27 pm »
The USPS on line quoted prices, are for pick up, some 'mericans use this little known fact to scam, they quote the on line cost and then go to the post office and send from there.
I always ask for the post office cost and if the sell overcharges I leave negative feedback outlining the scam. There is no need to scam people, As my Dad used to say, the ship sails both ways.

Honda / Re: Honda 450 twin

The last of the 305 "Dreams" would be the largest Honda for pre 65 ,even the 65  66 67 68 models would have to qualify as the paint was the only change. The rare "Street scrambler" CL77 model types would be so cool. Cheers Tim754

You could get a Yoshimura (CYB) kit to take these out to 350 as well as other tasty engine parts!  ;D

Great bike! just love the reversed head (and barrel?) that would be a marvellous chopper and a real talking point. As for the Webber's not being so popular, most people that poohoo the Webber complain about tuning them ::)
Each to his own I guess, I reckon the end result's a bit on the fugly side of the genre ::).

Yep a styling disaster with an interesting start :o

An acquaintance of mine has had a 45mm Weber on his T140 Bonneville for years with little or no trouble. Vern Grayson has one fitted to his BSA 650 flat tracker and he swears by it and Jonesy's also fitting one to his C&J Triumph street tracker. I do wonder however, why more racers didn't (don't) use them on big twins. There must be a down side :-\
