Thanks curly. I think there may be some emotional attachment to this one, so Im not even sure if he will sell. It's extremely rough it may even have had some things welded on the frame but it is complete.

Devcon pretty exy but will last for years in the kit. I use the ally based one, have had the same kit for 15 years. It dried out sometime ago and refreshed it with acetone, good as gold.. Its about $80 buck for the kit I think. You will get it from any good industrial supplier.

Selling my KX 420.  $3700 with some spares. Please pm if anyone has any interest.
I am negotiable on the price.
I have some spares to go with it.
I have owned this bike for 33 years so it has been a big decision to sell it. It would be good to see it go to a good home.
Any inspection is welcome.

do they have a valve for regas or not? if they have a valve you can use a shock pump from a mountain bike to do the job. If not they need to be regased in a chamber. The shock is placed into a chamber and this is then pressurized to force gas past the seal into the shock.
Nitrogen is generally used because it is a completely "clean" gas.

The frame would double as the oil tank, plus add quite a bit of stiffness to the chassis. You can use much thinner tube for the same stiffness if you go to a bigger diameter.
