i felt myself privileged to have been able to meet and hang out with firko and the klub kevla gang around the motto farm hotel barbie on friday nite at cd5.  firko can't help but play the genial 'falstaff' style host, welcoming in newcomers and listening in to all ten or more conversations/bragging fests going on around him, fielding questions coming out from several to resolve debates on model changes/bike comparos/australian mx history/'what happened to so and so?' qu's all thru the nite.

i heard a heap of fabulous stories about the seventies mx revolution in oz from guys who were there racing (at all levels including pro's), and have all stayed in touch since - a hundred percent real band of brothers.

i was privileged indeed - thanks for keeping the kevla tradition going firko - they stand for something.

One of thousands of stories shared about and with Firko in our community ..Missed by many more.Go skidding in sideways Firko.

Last run at the home of VMXWA next weekend.
20th & 21st June 2020
As VMXWA are heading to a new venue, its a ride park day with cheap 1970s ride prices..
Many will be there for this social event for a touch of nostalgia and reminisce of days gone by.
An epic Pre75 riding history of 20 plus years.
Hope you can make it.
Cheers A

OK, someone else's turn on the Soap box.

Sky hasnt fallen,Pandas are tucked in for the winter weather & WA keeps pumping out Coal power and Iron ore.
Tourisms starting to get on track with plenty new gov bale out $$.
Its given us time to reproritise and clean out the shed/house.
Big events have been cancelled ,though crews are ready to roll when we get the go ahead.
Ride park days are proving popular.
Get stuck in your still breathing. 8)

It will be hard for Australia to recover from this. The biggest industry here is travel and holiday. It will take a while for visitors to come back and the government will make it harder when it comes to turist visa applications(health checks, vaccination etc may be required for visitors). Even if restrictions are lifted people will not just jump on planes and go to see Uluru.

With our low covid numbers and best health system in the world why wouldnt you want to travel here for a holiday. We all love it.
Cheers
