Here is a bike all ready to go

http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=14803.0

I can see the difference in the 2 seats on the 2 RM's that Nathan pointed out earlier on. That was a good post as usual.

Mate, are ya serious?? It's in Western Australia. Have you priced how much it is to transport from WA to Queensland? Makes the purchase a whole different thing......

Easy Tiger!!

Some of you boys and girls are hanging on WAY too tight......  Relax a little.  I STILL don't get it.

Once again for the Dummies, in 25 simple words or less.....

"We should not allow a pre 90 class because : " ?

It's coming. Not IF, but WHEN. Seems to me all this pontification is just that.   A lot of MY willy is bigger than YOUR willy stuff.

P.S. I know Tony. I know how genuine he is and I think you blokes have missed the point. Oh, and he is a BIG bastard.....

SOLD!! Thanks Brian!

My appreciation goes to Big Tones for motivating me to extract my digit and sell this thing. It was going to be the project of a million things but in all honesty I'm just broke. It'll never happen.

Husqvarna / Re: Fork Oil 83 250 Husky?

Now I'll probably get laughed at for this......

With the old style damping rod forks I use a "secret blend"........ 50% 30wt engine oil and any 50% any handy ATF...

It's SO much like 15 wt it's not funny and about half the cost... Adjust the amount to suit. As for air pressure, how do you blokes keep the oil seals in situ/working????

Gudday!
I'm chasing a 1988ish disk brake front end, all conditions considered... Triples/forks/wheel/caliper whatever? Anyone got something kicking around?? It's for a Project bike I'm building. BMVarna beast! Hope to get it to look like the PD bikes that Gaston rode in the early 80's..
I'm in Brisvegas, givvus a yell on [email protected] if you like.
Thanks!

Don't worry!! Found something..... what would we do without ebay???

General Discussion / Re: new years resolutions come on spit it out

I'm off the alcohol. Special occasions like weddings etc only. Ride all rounds of QVMX this year, ride bike to Alice Springs via the road less travelled and watch the Finke with mates. The organisers have been kind enough to start the race on my 40th birthday........

I got a set of these from Phillip..
http://www.husqvarna-parts.com/catalog/item/3736740/3373270.htm

Good things. I have done the footpeg widener from Ballards 'though on other bikes. Works well if you can weld. I can't.

My 500xc fix list is new throttle cable and repair slight fuel leak from tank after I had a brain fade and jammed the throttle cable between the expansion chamber and tank... 'DOH!!!!   >:(

Here's mine..

Yeah... That waterpumper 500
I've wanted one of those for a LONG time so I've been in and had a look. Your kids are safe mate. She's ROUGH! Basically needs a total rebuild. So for 4.5k large he can keep it.  ;D  Unless I have some massive windfall in the v. near future... Santa? Santa did ya hear me? Santa....??

Yeah, I know your right and ideally that's what I'd do. BUT where I'm living at the moment doesn't really have the setup to do that, where you can leave a motor apart with confidence that it's not going to get contaminated with dust etc. Think share house, big old Queenslander on stilts with open area underneath. Cracker place, great area but no decent workshop... She got that  :-\ :-\ I got my sanity. Good swap I thought! ;D Plus next year I get to race WHATEVER event I like!
