General Discussion / Re: Track time

Yeah that's why we stopped doing any big events, way to much money spent, for very little track time. Even worse, if you have probs in the first moto and you have to pack up early.
We get heaps of track time on club prac days though, most people don't even do the final round..

General Discussion / Re: ebay calculated import charges increase.

I noticed it the other night as well ???
Also put 4 of exactly the same items in the cart, Ebay calculated  postage prices varied from $66 through to $188, but only had the import charge attached.
Ebay have screwed it for themselves....

If in a hurry remember postal workers (and others) not getting paid in US and therefore not working. good old Trump

Fake News ;-). The US Postal Service is operating as normal. From their site:

“Postal Service operations will not be interrupted in the event of a government shutdown, and all Post Offices will remain open for business as usual,” said Linda Neill, strategic communication specialist, Denver, Colorado. “Because we are an independent entity that is funded through the sale of our products and services, and not by tax dollars, our services will not be impacted by a government shutdown.”

Any shutdown is caused by Democrat intransigence. Like it or not Trump received a mandate to build a wall.

USPS was left open under request from the Australian Government......Loss of GST income would would have created an economic collapse in Australia.
How the fork can we be charged GST on postage charges from the U.S ?

Be easiest to just send it off to a graphics shop and have them do you up a new one.

Brakes ?
According to MA you don't need them.
Below is an official response I got from MA regarding a brake rule question.

Thanks for your email; and for your patience whilst I passed on the enquiry to both the Classic MX and MX/SX Commission for comment. Both have confirmed that your brake system is suitable. For the MX Commission it simply needs to be a brake that “works” i.e. slows down that rear wheel to assist with stopping.

The Classic MX Commission do not require you to have brakes at all (as per the GCR’s) however should your machine be deemed “unsafe” on the track, the Clerk of the Course has the right to remove it. You would not be deemed unsafe on this machine as it has been presented.

Hopefully this answers your questions, if you need anything further please let me know. Best of luck with racing!

Kind regards,

that big home made slide hammer looks the go but ive found for really rusted in s/arm bolts a month soaking with wd40 is the way.
Pulling it out also prevents spreading/bending the end when you try and push through from the nut side...

I give the x30's the big thumbs up, out do their Dunlop and Michelin equivalent easily.....but they are the hardest tyre to change Ive ever came across, once they are on, they are on.
