Watto at the top corner at Tivoli. At the oz titles here when necessary he was riding from this corner into the right hander absolutely flat. Anyone who is familiar with the track will realise how unlikely this is. In all the years I raced and watched there I never saw anyone else even come close to doing that.

For those that don't know Arnie Hallet was a tireless worker for the Ipswich motorcycle club. He was at the track almost every weekend working wether there was a race meeting or not. A great man who did much for the sport here in qld.
