Just another tip...When you sort the crank out & ready to put back together, warm the cases in the oven (my wife loves it!) & take the bearings out of the box & put em in the freezer-it shrinks them a tiny bit. When you take the bearings out of the freezer, make sure you grab them in the middle (stick your fingers in the hole) & they will just fall straight in,no hammering or force at all. You can do the same with the crank too.Hope this helps, worked heaps of times for me...

Hey, my start was way later than most of you guys, but my passion is just as strong...Wheelstanders 1989, fast guys there back then-Matt McKenna,McFarlane brothers,Craig Anderson (Suzuki Rider).
Everytime I drive past that empty lot I get cranky...Just like Trailblazers,Pine Rivers,Redcliffe...List goes on & on. Bugger housing developments!

Hi viewers, Im selling the CR125 I took for A spin at Bidadabba this weekend (11/9).
This bike is the real deal-not recommended for A novice.Power is mid to top end with very little bottom end-the harder you rev it the faster it goes. The only reason im selling it is because im too heavy for it (115kg) & have to work too hard keping it on the boil.This bike has the usual scratches here and there,but is very tidy.The features are: New clutch/water pump cover,Both tyres (1 ride),CR250 showa cartridge fork with new seals & bushes,new choke assy,boyesen rad valve,pro circuit pipe(eliminating atac system),air filter,chain roller,#plate decals,O.E swingarm & radiator decals(thick ones),front brake pads,billet gearlever,wide footpegs.Also comes with some spares.This bike is very fast (even with my big a#* on it) and is ready to race.Call Whitey 0418719600

Hey guys,just A note to let you know a little bit of info...I just fitted a set of '03-'04 RM wide footrests onto my '86 CR125 with very little effort. I just cut a bit off the shank at the bottom of the mount (on the new peg), straightened the end of the spring & bobs your uncle, nice wide footrests!

While you have it apart, lock the evac system shut.They had a problem of bouncing open & shut over rough ground,giving a weird power feeling.From what ive been told,most riders did this with the '86.Apprantly the '82 model head fits and gives a way better powerband...

I have a Pro circuit pipe for sale that I bought off EVILBAY for my '86 model...Dont fit! I believe that it is for an '87/'88 model with the revised ATAC chamber. It has A dent @ the lowest part of the pipe, easily repaired and A tiny crack in the flange where it mounts to the cylinder,again,easily repaired.Hoping to get my money back $90.00. I also have a Boyesen ignition cover that had the wrong details on the add (Evilbay) that I think fits the '88 CR125 onwards in good condition,does have wear marks but very sound for $45.00
