l considered buying that bike form the original importer for around 5,000-6,000 from memory, managed to purchase two others for less however cosmetically challenged though both are riders. The bike  in question  is mostly original and is a rare model any where , it is considered to  be the QUINTERSENTIAL LATE MODEL SWEDE MARK. RIDABILITY IS ONE THING AND COLLECTABILITY IS ANOTHER,I who  hope it sells and the person  who gets it appreciates it for what it is ,a true classic , regards  Jimbo

Brendan if you are after a pre 78 one rarity is you problem, no wr 's in 77 2061 prefix motor same as 78/79 ,1980 cr's are different ,in 78/79/ 80 frame differ in both cr and wr but are all good , basically the newer they are the higher they are  though height can be tailored  regards Jimbo ps. just built a 79 wr 250 for my brother and she is a little rocket that we will classic reg. through Veri for course

Brendan ,390  Huskies fit the bill ,easy to maintain ,very reliable if you buy a good one, fast with bags of torque  spare parts that flow through models ,lighting and power circuits on all models ,and competitive with neutral handling regards Jimbo ps I've used the same bike for every thing for twenty years without a major issue

How much fun can you have for twenty dollars,- three  thirty five  k laps of virgin bush point to point, single trail, sweeping bush tracks ,water crossings, open road sections on dirt and tarmac ,linking bush laneways ,Thanks VERI ! MUCH,  Good on ya SEAN AND DRAKIE , THIS WAS WHAT RED PLATE  VINDUROING IS ALL ABOUT. REGARDS JIMBO.

Geoff hi, I have a very similar Hooker header on my 1970 cr400 Husky, it looks the same however the rear cone with the mount on it is 180 /d in the other direction  and the front header has more angle [rising] regards Jimbo
