For Sale / 1980 CR80

Just thought I would throw this up to see if there is any interest. Just finished restoring a 1980 CR80. Bought it off the original owner who had owned it since brand new. Bike was complete but during the restore it has been fitted with some new items as follows:

NOS Barrell (Standard Bore)
Wiseco piston kit
Cases split and all bottom end/gearbox inspected
Brand new front and rear tyres
New Seat Cover
New DC plastics plastic kit
New Kill switch
New Grips
New levers
New Airfilter
New chain
Renthal bars
Frame/Engine resprayed in Tahitian Red

Comes with a box of spares including plastics, seat cover, barrell, head, ignition parts, front tyre, etc.

For Sale / FMF HEAD YZ/CR/RM80?

I have a FMF head for sale. Purchased it for my 1980 CR80 but have since decided to go another way with the build. From what I was told it was off a YZ80 but will fit a CR80 and maybe a RM80 but I cant really remember and someone on here will know more. I can post it anywhere in Aus. not sure on price but make an offer. Also I dont know how to post pics but it looks exactly the same as this one that was listed on ebay recently.

Suzuki / 78 PE175

Hey, Just picked myself up a nice running 78 pe175. My goal is to turn it visually into a rm so I can race it at a few local vintage races. It already has rm plastics and a 79/80 RM125 tank that i plan to replace with a 78 rm125 tank. Also does a 78 RM125 silencer bolt on? And what is the difference between the seats on the 78 pe175 compared to a 78 RM125. Are the bases the same just with a wider foam at the back on the pe or totally different? Thanks for your help

Suzuki / PE400 Carby

In need of a new carby for a 1980 PE400. To my knowledge they came with VM36SS, same as the PE250, just with a different (2.0 vs 2.5) slide cutaway and a 6DH20 jet needle. I have found a new VM36SC for sale with a 2.5 slide, are they any different? Would this carby be compatible with a 6DH3 needle as it comes with a 6FJ6?

Suzuki / '85 RM250 Questions

Looking at buying a '85 rm250 off a local guy. While i know this bike isnt pre '85 legal, just wanted to know the differences between it and the 84 model. Visually the only difference i can see is the addition of the front disc brake in 85. Also any pro's and con's of the 85 model i should know about.

Competition / Couttsies 2 Day Enduro

Couttsies 2 day enduro is on up here in Central Queensland next weekend the 3rd and 4th Sep. Its a great weekend where you can race or just cruise around the track. There is also a class for the older bikes.

Honda / 1980 CR80

Just in need of a few peoples opinions. Found a 1980 CR80 recently out the back of someones house thats in pretty good original condition. I dont really know much about the old hondas, just wanted to know what something like this would be worth before I make an offer to take it off his hands.

For Sale / XR250

Here for sale is my fathers pride and joy and the only reason he is selling it is that he already has a CRF450X for general riding and would love to upgrade to a DR650 so he can ride to the cape.

Its a 2000 Honda XR250R with the works done. It was recently rebuilt top and bottom with a Hot Rod conrod and a Ballards big bore top end kit (269cc im pretty sure) with a high comp wiseco piston and hot cams camshaft. To compliment this engine work the bike is also fitted with a staintune exhaust and has been jetted to suit. This is a fast bike and it comes with the reliability of an XR.

The bike has new graphics and also comes with pro taper bars, good chain and sprockets and good tyres. There is also many spares that will go with the bike such as standard exhaust, spare aftermarket headlight and a motocross front number plate, etc. The bike is currently unregistered but will come with most parts to re-rego it.

Looking for $2900 and the bike is located in Rockhampton, Central Qld but can assist in delivery to an extent. May consider swaps (Most preferably PE/RM's). PM me on here or phone/text 0407599727.
