Mainly one for Jared this. We have discussed before the idea of putting a 414 motor into a 250VG frame, but the factor which was a problem was fitting an exhaust system...Anything ever been worked out to solve this?

Ev'nin all,  does anyone know if the 414's clutch plates are the same as the 348/349 cota ones??
Or can anyone let me know where to get some new ones??

I spent a while today finally trying to get me newly rebuilt 414VG started for the 1st time. It wont start, think the spark is too weak and i will try another coil tommorrow.

Main reason for this topic is that when kicking the bike over vigouresly, it seems to quite often go *soft* ie i think the clutch is slipping during the kick over process.  Could this be correct and what should i check?  I assume the clutch springs may be weak ??

Right gents, heres a challenge for you all.  I notice that 2 of my 414vg's and my 250vg frame all have a kind of "lug" on the inside  of the main underframe bottom tubes.(one side ) .....It looks like a socket for a temporary sidestand, can anyone show me an original stand? or tell me what it should be like?
