Anyone know of a plastic welder in the Newcastle / Sydney area that does plastic repairs on tanks? Mate has a YZ490 that has a split in the tank and wants to get it repaired.

Bike Transport / Roller from Yallourn North (Vic) to Newcastle

Need to get a roller from Yallourn North (Vic) to Newcastle. Anybody near by Yallourn North that may be able to assist? Or possibly passing through that way? Even assist with possibly picking the bike up and storing for a couple of weeks. I just need to pick the bike up by 12/2/13 as the guy is moving house. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. After a 84 Honda CR rear wheel, 125, 250 or 500, doesn't matter. Complete wheel or just the hub. Brake backing plate would be handy as well.  Cheers

Due to change in work circumstances, van is no longer required.
Van is registered till end Feb 2012 and has approx 111,000 km's on it. Lot's of extra's.

Competition / HEAVEN VMX Inc Evo Challenge - 14th & 15th August

It's that time of year again for the Evo and Pre 85 boys to come out and play. This years Evo Challenge will be held at the Lakes MX Track on Cessnock Road, Awaba, approx 2km off the F3. Track promises to be in great cindition as usual after being prepared by the Lakes Motorcycle Club for us. Great track, great facilities, friendly people and a great atmosphere. The club has recently installed some bike washbays in the pit area so people can give there toys a quick wash before heading off if they like.
Gate will open on Friday afternoon with camping available at the track. There are a couple of hot showers on site and toilets as well. There will be a fully operational canteen going both days, attended by the good people of the Lakes Motorcycle club. The Lakes club will also be catering the meal on Saturday night after the presentation. The format for the weekend is as follows;
2010 Evo Challenge Saturday Race Format 14th August

Sign-on & Scrutineering – 9:30am to 10:45am
Riders Brief – 10:45am to 11:am
Practice – 11:00am to 12:00pm
Lunch – 12:00pm to 12:30pm
Marshals / Officials Set – 12:30pm to 12:45pm
Racing – 12:45pm to 4:00pm

Race 2 – 16 to 39 yrs Age Race & Ladies
Race 3 – Evo 250cc Round 1
Race 4 – Juniors
Race 5 – Evo 500cc Round 1
Race 6 – Pre 85 125cc Round 1
Race 7 – Fourstoke Round 1
Race 8 – Pre 85 250cc Round 1

Competition / HEAVEN VMX Inc NSW Rnd 2 17th & 18th April 2010

Round 1 is done & dusted with a good weekends racing and rec riding. Round 2 is on at the home of HEAVEN VMX Inc , the Bulahdelah track approx 1 hour north of Newcastle NSW, on the 17th & 18th April 2010.
Rec riding on the Saturday with all bikes welcome and 2 full rounds of HEAVEN racing on the Sunday. Get your entries in early for another top weekend of VMX riding & socialising.
Camping is permitted at the track, so make a weekend of it and bring the family along for great weekend out.

Competition / 2010 HEAVEN VMX Inc Round 1

Well the time is almost upon us for the start of another year of HEAVEN racing. First round kicks off the season at the Lake Glenbawn complex and recent rain ensures that the track and the local grounds should be in picture perfect condition. Anyone who has ridden at the Lake Glenbawn MX track will agree that this is a superb track for vintage racing ( or practice/rec riding).
Action starts on Saturday 20th March 2010 with rec riding for the day (modern bikes welcome) and full round of racing on the Sunday. There has been a small change to the classes for this year which should allow for better racing. The new classes for each era are as follows;

125cc
250cc
263cc and over
All in

These are the classes for the following era's;
Pre 75, Pre 78, Evo & Pre 85

Other classes to be included as all in are Pre 70, 4Stroke ( with under 300cc & over 300cc scored seperately in the same race), Ladies & Juniors.
HEAVEN VMX Inc shall continue the policy of 1 bike , 2 rides and the ride up class for any bike shall be the era specific "All in" race.
For example, a 1974 250cc is directly eligible for the Pre 75 250cc class. The ride up class for this bike would be the Pre 75 All in class. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact the club.
Entry forms should be starting to role in now (HINT, HINT ) and also memberships if not already submitted.
