Kawasaki / Wide footpegs on mid 70's KX

Anybody else tried fitting late model wide pegs to mid 70's KXs? Wanting to know what pegs would work best on my 75 KX250 with the least amount of modification. Cheers.

Wanted / Vented Yellow Duckbill Peak/Visor

Hey guys, looking for a yellow vented duckbill visor, sometimes called a "spoiler". If you've got a NOS one that would be great, but a good condition used one is OK too. Not looking for the ones that are more like a motopeak shape, just the really flat duckbill type.

Hi, I'm looking to get a pipe made for my 80 KX250. Does anyone know of any pipe builders in the Newcastle/Sydney area? I know that Doug Childress from the US makes a pipe for this model, but I would rather keep it local. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Rod.

Looking for a pair of Joel Robert Sidi re-issues in size 10 to 11, new or used. Also a Koho Finn Fighter facemask, the first type with no trim and the 3 diamond shaped air holes in front. Cash or have stuff I can swap if you're interested. Long shots I know but it's worth trying.

Anyone got any pictures they could post of Graeme Smythe when he rode for Kawasaki? I saw the small promo pic in VMX but would like to see some race shots. Photos of the 1976 Mr Motocross series in general would be cool too. My dad had an issue of Revs or AMCN from the period that had a story on the works Kawasakis he rode that year, unfortunately long gone.

Tech Talk / Magnesium treatment

Has anyone had any experience with blasted magnesium parts oxidising under a baked enamel finish and also under a powdercoat finish? I unfortunatly had the parts blasted before I found out that they have some sort of chemical treatment to prevent corrosion but was still surprised to find that painting and powdercoating didn't stop corrosion from happening and appearing through the finish. So does anyone have any tips for the treatment of mag parts? I've heard people talk about Dow#7 etc but never found a place that does that kind of work. Any help appreciated.
