As promised elsewhere, here's a shot of the Rickman-XL. The shot appears to be taken at a motor show. Don't know if they ever went into production.

Bike Talk / Metisse-style mini

I'm looking for info/pics on an early-70s mini that had - as I recall - styling somewhat like a Petite Metisse (square-ish rearguard, mk4-style).
It was featured in "Minicycle Magazine" in 71 or 72. As I recall the article featured 2 bikes/models & they had Hodaka/Fuji engines of 100/80cc. I think they had one piece seat-tank-rearguard, but it may have been a separate tank.
Can anyone shed any light? or better still have any pics they can email me?

Can any of you husky experts tell me if there was any diff between 75 & 76 GP swingarms?
I read in an old Dirt Bike mag that the bottom shock mount was supposed to have been moved forward 12mm on the 76 model.
Is that correct?

Have just heard about Motorcyclist Retro
Have also just heard the publisher pulled the pin on it (after 2 issues I think) cos of economy, even tho it sold 25,000 copies.
However the editor is continuing it privately by subs, but called Motorcycle Retro. Check out motorcycleretro.com

Twinshock Trials / TY250 clutch actuator location

Have seen some 250 Majestys in CDB mag that have clutch actuator on top of cases instead of underneath like mine (not sure off top of my head if mine is A or B model).
Can anybody (David??) tell me what model the change came w, or are they special cases?
Could never figure out why any manufacturer would put the actuator under the cases in the 1st place, esp on a trials bike & even more so when there were no bottom frame rails!
