Competition / PRE85MXWA event 01 May 11

Next on the calendar we have a club run with Southern Capes in Busselton on the 1 May 2010, this will be upon us in no time at all so make sure you put it in your diary today!!!
Details of the event are:-
Free camping is available at the track
Pre85mx Sausage Sizzle on the Saturday night – Great way to catch up for before the riding on Sunday
Canteen is available on the Sunday
If you haven’t already completed your Pre85mxwa membership for this year it would be appreciated if you could get it to me ASAP, you will need to be a club member to ride at Southern Capes
Juniors are welcome as this event is run by the Southern Capes MX Club, however they must be a member of Pre85mxwa or Southern Capes MX club to ride (Contact Paul or Glenn for info regarding your junior)
Southern Capes Motorcycle club is situated on Gibb Road (end of North Jindong Road) Jindong, this is a motocross track that covers 1.8kms and is predominantly gravel and loam.
Wineries (for the ladies) are all very close some within 5km’s from the track.
Drop us an email or give us a call if you have any queries - look forward to catching you there!

When: 26 & 27 March
Where: Stockton Park Collie
WHAT:
? 2 pm - Swap & Sell Saturday Afternoon
? 6 pm - Roast Spit Dinner Saturday Night ($12.50 per head)
? 7.30pm - Outdoor Theatre/Movies Saturday Night
? 8am - Come and Try Vintage Riding Sunday
OTHER INFO:
• In order to arrange catering for Saturday night an RSVP to pre85mxwa@westnet.com.au would be appreciated by the 13/3/10
• Full Bar facilities available on Saturday night
• Collie Club will offer full canteen facilities for Sunday Breakie and Lunch

With the new Pre85 club formed in WA, comes new ideas to promote the sport, well an idea stolen from the eastern states, but at least we are trying!!lol
"A DAY IN THE DIRT"
August 21st & 22nd “A Day in the Dirt” – The Pre85MXWA Club in conjunction with Beverley Districts Motocross Club are planning on hosting "A Day in the Dirt." We would like to invite all motocross enthusiast members to participate and take those bikes out that are hidden away in sheds. The concept behind this is for us Western Australians to enjoy our own version of the highly successful format that is Classic Dirt, an event that most of you will know is held in the Eastern States. It will be a great way to meet new people and or enjoy the company of your existing fellow riders. The order of the 2 day event will be along the following lines:-
a. Non-Competitive Riding Sessions Saturday Afternoon and Sunday
b. Swap Meet
c. Static Displays
d. Band in Beverley on the Saturday night with bus transfers from the track to town and return
e. Camping at the track with catering
f. Catering for all classes form Pre 60 to Pre 85.
