Well, it's been nearly 10 years in pieces in the shed, but now i have finally started it!

Wifes out - quick crank the oven up and get them bearings out!

KTM / 80/81 Seat Foam

Guys,

I may have found someone who can remanufacture seat foams for the 80/81 bikes.
If you are interested let me know. As it is alot of work to make the mould etc. and he wants to know if there is a market.
I know my 250 one is knackered, and i have one perfect one on the shelf to send to get copied.

KTM / 81 250 Intermediate Gear Wanted

Guys,

I am chasing an intermediate gear for my 250. Part #50033026044.
Description is a 36/30 tooth.
Gear is the one between the kick start gear and clutch hub.

KTM / 81 250 Clutch slip

When i got home from Buladelah, i drain the gearbox oil to then work on the clutch and find out why i had clutch slippage in the last two races.
Oil came out looking like liquid Aluminium!! Then removed cover to find this :


multiple broken plates etc etc...... Looks like i am going back to the sintered steel plates.
