For Sale / Broadford

Hi gents , Im bringing a lot of nos Yamaha stock . some quite hard to get bits . also a large b pile of nos Yamaha quad parts all new in packing . A Yamaha IT 175 82 or 83 not sure mostly there some new bits $800 firm .  So come to the mx camping area and look for the Ford white ute VMX154 rego . Iain



New F\ guard and headlight surround from Les . also found a speedo and key lock with key , spare rear wheel . not running .

Tech Talk / Running lean

To start this DT1 motor ran very nicely , I added a high comp head and a DT400 cdi system . checks already done are no air leaks , inlet ,mains seals . Ive raised the main jet . pilot jet up from 40 to 60 ,lifted the needle to bottom clip . still runs lean . Im buggered if I can find the answer . Any help appreciated Iain .

Sorry to the pre 60 and pre65 guys didn't mean to leave you out .
Im stuck in pre 70 and 75 and dabble in 78 as I grew up with this era first bike in 71 , to me they are all different each has a distinctive shape or sound that brings flash backs to the start of my enjoyment of bikes . the more modern bikes I can see their advancement and new tech but its the early pioneers of the sport that ring my bell . Gents the grey tanked XR75 1973 model . Is the red stripes stickers or paint , if paint what is the colour and how wide are the stripes . this is the last bit I need to do to finish my toy . thanks in advance . Iain

Yamaha / YZ b front guard

Gents I need some help , The 1974 YZ250b front guard is it rounded on the top like the mx or YZa guards or is it flat on top like the 75MX  or the 76YZ'c . Im stuck and have found photo's with both guards being used . Iain
