Gday Guys,
Just wondering about the following Q's re The clarence meeting. Please excuse my ignorance...
Can i run a knobby rear tyre?
Do the pre75 125 usually run in a different class but the same race as the pre 78?
When are numbers issued for my bike? If they are on the day then can i purchase them there?
Is nifty Nev's Old RM125s gunna pass scruteneering?

Just thought i would post a pic of my yz250f off evilbay. I am going to try to make it look about 80% like an OW40... start with two pack on the frame. etc. By the way thanks to those of you who have helped already on specs and parts.

Gday guys,
Was wondering if someone can shead some light. I have some std specs for this bike:
Main   400
cutaway   3.0
pilot      50
needle   6F16
Air          ???????????????
Needle jet   Q0
the air jet is not listed, I have the spec for a yz250H which is 2.5 should i use this or does it run without one as i cannot see it on the drawing either for the F . And to throw a spanner in the works its running a 1.5mm oversize E Barrell...
Any help will be much appreciated. All opinions will be respected

Gday Guys,
I am after a Carby for My bike which i recently got off Evilbay. Some one had glued the little post on that holds the needle and seat lever. So when i pulled it apart it broke in my hands

Hello Guys,
The forks on my yz250 1979 have just been re-assembled after a placing new seals, I cleaned them out and used 15 wt oil. one works fine the other seems to work well when compressed slow but when compressed fast it seems to feela bit like a stapler- this happens at different ranges of the forks. When the oil is emptied out the problem dissapears. I then swapped the inner tube from the good one to the bad and that fixed the problem. The chrome is getting was bit thin down the lower end. I also removed the inner tube and fine honed the inside of the ineer fork tube with lite scothbrite as there seemed to be a bit of pitting inside, this seemed to help the prob a bit. Any ideas guys. Or does anyone know if there is a fork inner available some where. I am not sure if this was happening before as there was not much oil in there when i got the bike

Hello Guys
Just wondering if someone can help, i have checked several sites for the info no luck yet i was going to fill them approx 160mm form the top when compressed with no springs in?

I have read on the past answers to a similar problem with a YZ250H where the botom bolt underneath the forks spins. The answer was to make a T wrench using an old bolt I think it was 24 mm accross the flats. Anyway can someone please advise if it is the same proceedure for the 250 1979 model and oif so what size hex headed bolt (head) do i make it from? Thanks in advance for any light you' can shead on the subject.

Gday guys, Maybe someone can help, I have a 125e when i recently pulled the barrlel off i noted that it had a piston with 537 marked on it ie yz125c. does anyone know if this piston would be responsible for the bike having very little low rpm torque/  power or is it typical for this model as i have ridden other models which seem to have better low rpm power. maybe the skirt has changed the port timing
