Yamaha / YZ250c 1976

A new project I have most of the parts in my boxes of bits so this one will be a quick job under a year . thanks to Brent Kerr for the frame now its off to Evill Bay shopping .

Yamaha / YZB 250 reed block

Gents before I spend a bucket load of money on one from Evil bay is the reed block interchangeable with any other 70's Yamaha's ?
My YZb 250 is down to the little bits now hoping to have her finished for Broadford at Easter .

After lots of help from the OZVMX friends and a huge amount of work from Yamaico Pete . She is almost finished now to strip her down and clean and polish paint the pipe .

Has anyone noticed how many sellers on Evil bay are selling Yamaha parts eg pistons rings or gaskets as 250 ,360, 400 . I wish they would check the numbers b4 listing . I asked one which size the piston fitted and he said 250 and 360 when I asked him how he said that's what the numbers fitted . Is the world filled with so many stupid people .

check out the rear guard stays , mounted to the bottom of the shock mounts to the guard . every bump the guard is going to move . some of these so called total rebuilders need just a few basic truths told to them . Iain
