Yes it's a brand spanker, just waiting on the akropovic pipe to arrive so I can ride it and yes I am going to start my speedway racing career at 43 ???
Ron has seen it, I am going to see Bob next month, I will show him some photo's when I get there... :)

I'll catch up with you at Nepean for its maiden voyage.

Has the new bike got back shocks? Looks the business.
-
speedways bike have rigid rear ends

Don't forget No Brakes or Gears, just drop the clutch, hold it flat and turn left.
Motorcycling at it's rawest. Power to weight nothing else compares, except possibly Drag bikes, but they don't turn corners.

I should correct that launch sequence.
Hold flat, drop clutch & turn left.
To do it the other way round means a turnover.
Sorry guy's it's been 30 years.

Curly, from a spectators point of view from the pig pen and as long as everyone is ok for the restart give me launch option one everytime.
-
God, that makes old JAPs and ESOs I've played on look terribly old.

After seeing this thread i have looked at some speedway on youtube and i gotta say it looks freakin dangerous but really swells the loins and gets the heart racing. The dirt track mob at Nudgee in brisbane have started running speedway days and i am keen to have a look. My boss used to frequent the Brisbane show grounds in the fifties every friday night to watch speedway, wish i was rockin about back then or should i say we still had shit like that still cookin' instead of getting shit faced at some poxy club listening to crap music and getting glassed in the face!
Speaking about ridgid frames, can you run ridgid frames in dirt track? I thought i saw something in the GCR's that you couldn't. Does anybody know?
Cheers,
Steve
