hi guys, are the 79 and 80 rm 400 frame and airboxes the same

Minor changes ,   Being swingarm -tank decals-  foot peg return springs  ...     think frames are the same

Alpha Sports show different part # for the frame and air boxes.....how much difference,not sure.

Air boxs are the same , changed lid style .   PE Fit also  ;)

The RM 400N has a central bolt that secures the rear fender through the air box, absolute shit of an idea - couldn't have been much rice on offer for smoko at the R+D depatment that particular day! The T model air box doesn't have the rear fender mounting into it, it is independant, allways wanted a T!
