Hello all - need a head and base gasket for '78 YZ 250E - SOME WOULD BE GREAT

I got some not so long ago for my yz125e from a yammy dealer in sydney, since burnt down- but they got them from yammy Australia anyway... Maybe they have the 250..

Hmmm.......went to local Yamaha Dealer and was told different........The guy did have about 57 ear, nose and eyebrow rings so I think i'll try again....elsewhere.

Head Gasket 1W3-11181-00 $27.90
Base Gasket  2k7-11351-01  $9.65
Thats Rec Retail can do for $33.50 plus Post We are in Melbourne

Head gasket for YZ250 D, E & F  1W3-11181-00-00  $29.26 (Reanneal old one by heating on gas stove till red then let cool)

Base gasket for YZ250 E & F      2K7-11351-00-00   $10.09

I buy them all the time. Motorcycleland 03 53396200 Sold one off each just last month says they will do credit card over the phone (Plus P+H)

If your local bloke is such an idiot ring somewhere else and buy over the phone (ie they'll post them)

If not I'll get them for you and post to you.

Worse comes to worst they're on evil bay all the time

I get 10% off that but yeah you're right.
You must type quicker than me as your post wasn't there when I went to do mine, made call while I was doing it, so bit of a shock when you posted the same thing.
One thing my mob do for me though is chase down NOS stuff other shops have sitting on there shelves through their computer system. Bought about 8 fork caps tha way.
