Title: TS 185
Post by: YUMASTEPSIDE on October 05, 2009, 11:09:51 am
One of the local cockies asked me if I could tidy up and sell an old TS185 he had in the shed. The bikes pretty much original, reasonable compression, probably needs a good tidy up................but ya gotta love the bush mechanics on that pipe !   :o :o :o ???

I thought the boy racers ran their drain pipes at the outlet end of the exhaust or are they a bit different over there  ;)

I would have used the PVC joins and elbows to give it a more modern look  ;D
The top elbow should have had the threaded cap to do the occasional cleanout.

Bugger, theirs been a leak from my R & D department & somebody's copied my 2010 "kit" pipes.
They would have been released for 2009 but my team of R & D researchers are still trying to work out how to stop the teflon tape from melting.

Gday Stew reckon i could combat it with a product though i have seen plenty of copper oxide wouldnt happen instantly i spose you could use A grade copper then spray it kind of ruins the cool look should try it and see what happens :) thanks Michael.

Got a Copper and Brass system somewhere for a B44 already Frosty going to polish it up for the wall. The builder used to work in the Victorian Railways Workshops in the fascinating steam era. Arr the old Government Jobs..... ;)
