nope dont believe it to be true, study the pics and you will see scratch marks on where a bolt has been replaced , he should have left it original, i think this is a very good resto :-\ was this vaccum sealed as back in those days what was a contolled enviroment. cheers BONEHEAD
-
why doesnt he include the yellow tank and fenders also???? i would be asking to see these items. its not just new out the crate if hes changed it to white.

Don't worry about the bike, how much is a YZ bash plate worth?
I've got one but didn't realize it was YZ. I thought it was home modded.
I was thinking, 'why would you lighten (weaken) a bash plate ::). I was admiring the drilling, so even and well spaced ::) excellent work for an amateur ::)
-
Bonehead, to me a controlled environment simply means not left laying around out on the street. Once it's in my yard it is in ACE 'A Controlled Environment' ::) a very loose term ya :D nice bike alright but it doesn't do anything for me more than the next one and for mine few vintage jap productions bikes if any are worth over $10K
-
yep imherin ya but this looks to me as a well controlled enviroment and required attention every weekend, i know of people who have brought there shows out of wax and vac seal way after this was even invented and you still need to maintain everything, i believe that the price is rediculous and that the bike is worth jack shit who would pay that much , even if you had the cash what are you going to do with it unless its in a museum where you pay people to look after the bike ;D we need to know what contolled enviroment , after all its a 2 stroke ;D
-
mmm i dont know :-\ if you are going to purchase it well good on ya, when it arrives can i come shoot some pool and drink beer as we look over this bike ;D is it really the real deal? i bet you i can beat you in pool ;D
-
MMmm i hope you have a couple of berms and a jump in ya pool room !!
-
Same here !!! but when i can build my pool room it will have a few berms in it and a little jump
-
every bar in australia "NEEDS" one of these in a glass cabinet!
cricket and footy posters just don't do it for me.
-
if it is NOS as claimed it will pull a huge price. Race going ones in OZ are around $8K and I have heard a rumour of a well restored one for $12-$13K here - with the OZ dollar as it is this is around $13K now?
It looks too good to be a resto I think FWIW?
cheers

Yep, looks like the real deal, based on my knowledge of the seller.
It will be interesting to see what it goes for.... :o
-
Ross what did you pay for yours out roughly out of interested im interested in the comparision or what i know.
-
HASNT ADAM GOT A NICE ONE FOR SALE ( ACTUALLY HES PROBABLY GOT A FEW KNOWING HIM ) ;)
-
yep i think he had the 2 for sale the yellow and the white parts lots, he had on ebay a few times, not sure if they sold and for how much. I was more curious as to what a complete one would go for in Au at the moment, and i think Ross was the last sale done of a complet unit.
-
That bike is the real deal NOS never had fuel in the tank etc.
Right down to the tyres and grips.
I feel and know of a few guy's watching this bike don't be surprised if it ends up in Australia. Especially with the dollar the way it is.
It will go over $15000 US I feel.
I actually have the original yellow plastic's and cosmetic's off this bike sitting in my show case at home awaiting to go on to a yz360b in the works. (one day) I will do it. I bought these from Terry good him self and have been doing a bit of trading back and forth on old yz parts etc with him.
I would say the reason it for is for sale is that he's probably onto a few more works bike of a trick bike etc.
He's told me before that he would only sell it if the right bike came along he wanted etc. Also he really only wants to concerntrait on WORKS BIKES what a pity. :(
I wish I had a spare $15000 or so laying around hey Try and find another NEW yz360b. You never will.

PS - if I win lotto..................................I would still have to contend with the wife!!!!!
-
Buy her a trip overseas, and when she comes back she might not remember how many bikes you had ;D
-
US$12,600 apparently. ;)
-
either my internet is playing up or he has listed another bike??????? 4 bids at $10,100 at the moment - same description I think but different item number. Coz I am not at home I cant access quickly - is it the same bike relisted?
cheers
Rossco
-
At the bottom of the new listing he says that someone hijacked his account and closed the listing....
So it's been relisted and is still for sale! ::)
Get bidding gentlemen... ;)
