Hope to see you all there for the last round of the year.
Just a quick note to tell you the entrance to Monza is now off Bergs Lane. The quickest way from Western Hwy is at Woodmans hill just past Kryal Castle turn left at the BP servo and follow the signs to Ballarat University Gear Av. Go past the uni to Main Road (Also known as Geelong rd) and turn left then the first right (Moss Av) then after the three speed humps turn right into Bergs Lane. It goes from bitumen to gravel. About half a km, you cant miss it.

Ran a clubby at Monza this weekend, I prepped it Friday and the track was good but for lack of rain. Caused it to dust up.
Suppose to get rain this week and I'll prep it again.
Problem though. As this will be the GP weekend I am going to lose a lot of my helpers. If those of you camping over could get there by mid afternoon just in case we have to water that would be great. Probably put on a BBQ & a few drinks for the helpers.
Rosco, where were you Sunday? Only me and Lance in the VMX class.

Yeah sorry about that. I had a date with KB and his mate Ian down at Parwan to ride the big four-sixty-five Yamahoohaa. Monties are in a million bits at the moment anyhow so you still would have been stuck with two. :-[. I'll come and give you a hand to set up on the Saturday.
A special thanks to Ian and KB for making sure there was just enough fuel in the tank to get me to the furtherest point on the back track before running the heavy poofta out and allowing me to push it all the way back whilst they convienently looked the other way. Ta. :'(
-
We were busy opening a couple of ice cold stubbies while you were out there rooting around Ross, could'nt interrupt that Ey ;)
-
They push well. I'd like one.......
Hey Neale. I think they're advertising the wrong date on the radio for the Viper meeting. The boss reckon's she heard it advertised as the 24th... :o
-
Rosco,
Wont mind if you turn up on the 24th instead of the 18th,would make things a little easier, not as exciting though. Good to see you on Sunday.
Looking forward to Monza.
Whats Hilly doing ???????

Limping. Still........ :'(
Hey Steve. I reckon' it's gunna be a blast! Track will be AWESOME and I'm certain there'll be a huge turnout. Look forward to seeing that big Maico. Don't worry if you haven't fixed the kicker shaft, there's plenty of hills to roll her off..... ;).
*If you're thinking of rolling the step-up, keep left. Flight 414 will be be coming through..... :o

Not anymore. Tracks great, had about 15mm of rain to date with a few more forecast but unless we get something like a torrential downpour the track will hold up. You guys have no idea how much time and effort has gone into the old girl in the past 6 months. She is not like Monza of old, she can withstand a lot more rain now.
Couple of clubbies back we had a shitload of rain just before and heaps didn't turn up cause they thought the track would be stuffed but except for a couple of spots it was magnificant.
Dont get me wrong, it's October so the temp guage could hit all of 13 or 13 degrees so make sure you have plenty of fluid (I got heaps of Melbourne) & sunblock. Bit of luck I'll post some pictures with a track report soon.

Hey Ken! You still coming up Saturday? Park near the canteen and I'll run a power cord out to the caravan.
-
Well, got my entry in at the last minute, sorry about that Viper666.
Had been waiting on my licence renewal which hasn't come, they promised it would be mailed today and they have faxed through a confirmation so all should be good.
-
I am coming, looking forward to opening up the 465 on the Monza hills!
-
Me.
Cheers,
K
