I want to make a few era bar pads. I can get the cover done but haven't found a source for the foam part.
Any help appreciated.

no luck at clarke rubber?
or maybe someone who does that protective foam wrapping they do on the aircon pipes?
-
No mate. All there stuff was wrong size or compound.

what about buying some cheapo bar pads off ebay, ditch the covers and then you have the foam ;)

Can't be certain if this will do the job, but what about refrigeration insulation, the stuff they use on airconditioner pipes? It's made to slip over pipes so it has lengthways slits and comes in lenghts of about 1.5 - 2 meters, all you need to do is cut to length.

I forgot to mention that I was typing in invisible ink, and you had to rub some lemon juice on your screen ;D
I like Vandy's idea anyway, I'm pretty sure that back in the day Mikkola was sponsored by Swimsafe for his bar noodles
