Title: DT 360A
Post by: MTSEAN on September 25, 2009, 03:57:38 pm
I am having trouble finding a rod and/or rod kit for my 360. Have recently found pistons and crank seals with quite a bit of searching.  I would appreciate anybodys help or guidance as I have exhausted a lot of options including pro x and sirco.  I really need to find a genuine one if possible.

I think he is right - I can't find it but we had another thread here on suitable rods before  - (will keep looking) - as I think it was an 83/89 YZ250 rod I put in my YZ360.

Will see what I can dig up.

cheers

the 214 rod {DT/RT1,2,3 YZa/b 250/360} is different to the
     311 rod {DT/MX250/360a}
i just scored a N.O.S. rod to put into my MX250a. had to get the shims,bearing & pin seperately.
it all cost a bit more than i'd hoped but it's all ready for instalation and soon to be back on track again.
check if you can whether the big end pin is 24mm or 25mm and a good yamaha parts guy can sniff one out.
short for time right now but will post some more info when i can.
