Title: protecting plastics

This has probably been asked before ,but is there anything that can be put on plastics to protect them and keep them shiny ?...as in a wax or polish ?? ??? ??? ???

I armour-all mine before racing and after washing and it seems to work well.

I use el cheapo "Tyre-Shine" from the Two Dollar Shop or lanolin spray like Lanox, depending how rich or poor I am that particular week. They both work fine as does Armor-All and its two dollar shop equivalent.

WD40 - can be used all over the bike - makes it easier to clean afterwards as well.

hit one of the cheap shops like firko said....dont get any on ya seat...as it doesnt look good when ya slip off the back of ya bike doing a wheelie in front of ya mates
