Title: Acid Dip - Western Suburbs Sydeny.

Can anyone recommend an Acid Dip service in south west or west  suburbs of Sydney. I want to acid dip an exhaust.

Okay, other than stunned silence from the masses and chirping from the peanut gallery  ;D I haven't got much. So......

.....what if I did it myself. Caustic soda in a big drum. Whats the safe environmentally frfiendly way of disposing caustic?

Have you tried any of the Engine reconditioning shops mx250? My local Engine rebuild shop, V8's etc, has a Caustic hot-tank that does a great job of getting the crap out of the expansion chamber/exhaust pipe.

Lads
        Drop into your nearest -Zinc - chrome plater - out fit and ask him to Caustic dip it for an hour or 2 then acid rinse it .
Make sure all the oil is drained and carbon is removed  ;)
