mmmm..could be an A with B forks and B shocks or it could be a B :P my guess goes with the seller as being an A. Not turning over today after it did yesterday is a bit of a worry though, simply left the fuel on overnight maybe ;D still..it needs the full monty done so that should be considered ;) 2freeq is it yours?

yes the bike is mine, the guy i got it from reckons he brought it brand new, told me its a 1976 rm 125 A, i had a mate checking it out the yesterday and told me he wasn`t 100% sure if it was a A or B.
with it turning over yesterday, i pulled it out of his shed and pushed the kickstart down twice, felt resonable considering how long it sat there. i put it in the trailer brought it to work. today when i checked it i couldn`t budge the kickstart.
i have been told big end bearing has let go.
as Doc said these things need to be considered when bidding on this.
it would be good if someone off here brought it and kept us up to date on the restoration.
in regards to the wheels it has a alloy rim on back and a steel rim on front if that helps.

mmmm..does kinda sound like the bigend from that description but what the heck, all parts are still available and with a 125 chances are the crank would need a rebuild anyway. If you have an engine and frame number I can confirm what year it is if you wish to know for sure. cheers

ok i have just been informed it is a rm 125 B, not a A like the previous owner told me. goes to show you cant believe what some people say, even if they brought it brand new back in the day.
