I've been building this one over winter and its finally finished (apart from a few bits!) and it will have its first airing at Benalla. Its taken a bit longer to do as I've been sticking to authenticity and original specs as closely as practicable -apart from the rear Koni's.
This 1977 175 now completes the series of Canam enduro's for me '76 - '82 - surely I can stop now? Please? Uh-oh,the little voices are still in here...........

good stuff CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done :-*

Yeh Champ, top job. One of the best looking of all Canam models IMO.
Couple of Q'ns:
Are you running TNT sidepanels? IF so, did they go straight on?
Are you running tapered rollers in headstock (w/out the adjustable cones)?
Whats it like to ride?

Thanks gents for the comments.
JC, the l/h cover from a TnT can be used but needs to be modified for mounting hole position, trimmed top r/h to clear the frame at the top shock mount and a mount added on top of the cover to secure it to the frame....I found the correct one on ebay instead. R/h cover is MX2 which only neede minor mods to fit.
Still running standard style bearings.
I have fired it up and it sounds good but I haven't had it out yet - still have a couple of things to do and time has been conspiring against me.
-
Time conspiring - get off the computer and get back in the garage.
I have the mud flap for your bike.

Excellent! Will speak soon. Thanks for your help along the way. You're really not a bad bloke - I don't believe the things the others say about you! ;) ;D
