Hello , anyone know much about 82 125s I have just swaped one ....it is in pretty good nick I was told the ignition will machine to fit my 490 Maico as its on the right side and internal rotor ? Seems a shame to break up such a nice bike , its dismantled but not that far gone just has had water inthe bottom end of the engine ,the pipe is like new !....gearbox is ok the mag primary cover is a little corroded but nothing a bit of devcon wouldnt fix ...are they competitive in pre 85 .....cheers Tim

don't know how competitive it'd be in pre~85 but i owned one back when they were new and i loved it.
i never raced it but did many a practise day and enduro. t'was super reliable, handled well and made good power and comfortable to ride to boot.
one of my best bikes for sure.
