Post by: madpugs on September 15, 2009, 05:11:42 pm
looking at buying a 81 husky xc430, been restoed apart from gold rims, is $5000 a good price, just curious as new to these so dont know what the value is, any help would be greatly appreciated.

My opinion is $5k would be reasonable for a good one that is recently restored/very clean original that doesnt need anything done.  Recent eBay benchmark for an immaculate restored one (not 100% correct to original however) is over $7k.  You would struggle buy a roughie and complete a resto for $5k so it seems around the right money. Good luck - they are good bikes
