Title: YZ490 Pre 85 Eligibility
Post by: rls840 on September 12, 2009, 06:20:07 pm
Hi Guys,

I know the YZ490 was fairly unchanged for many years. Is there a carry over rule for this model (to make a 1989 model for instance) eligable for Pre 85 racing?

I don't think so. The 490 got a disc brake in '85 so that pretty much rules it and later models out as carry over models.
