Title: Suz TS 250 steering damper
Post by: farmer58za on September 11, 2009, 07:28:22 am
Hi All

I'm building a Suzuki 1972 TS 250 into a pre-75 VMX mount. I ditched the 19" front wheel and the old style Suzuki forks and replaced them with some better period items.
The old forks had a steering damper fitted. That was worn out so it was ditched with the original forks. Do I really need to fit another?

I posted a couple of pics.

I think the postage would be a killer from Johannesburg Stew :P I'm guessing they were older chrome steel lowered clunker forks and the ones you want came out on the K model and later ;) and I can assume it wasn't you (oldfart) who posted the $1275 winning bid on fleabay?
