I raced at that meeting! Got a second in the all powers on my TM125. Do you have anymore pages from the program? Jerry
-
Yep still got the whole program, there was 7 divisions with about 34 riders per race, what name?

Interesting stuff Kev .I remember most of the Frankston riders there , even though it was 2 years before my time.#22 would have won div1 and #185 used to hang with Gary Benn and come to our minibike track for practice .I idolized them , that was before I saw Anton Ride.

Thats great to see that.. Dads brother richard is 542 and his close mate Frank is number 543. A mates uncle is Chris Oldfield, Vince Genova from Nova Honda ringwood is in there(not sure if shop is still around now), and the number 22 of Geoff Beatle too. I heard he was a wild man and super talented back in the day.. but vanished from mx? I wonder if 169 is related to longtime fast A grader Dean Arnel. What a spin out that programme is

Kens brother's in race 2,race 1 has a few more ;)

KB, were you from the Diamond Valley area back then? (D.V.M.C.C) I was a member of the D.V.M.M.C.C at Greensborough in the early seventies.

I love it that they were only 3 lap races....much more my style ;D ;D ;D ;D

I notice Gary Chasemores name on the above program. He later went on to achieve amazing success in dirt track and speedway. I remember racing against him at Mildura and Bendigo dirt tracks back in the 70s. Is he still around?

I love the second pic. It's like your dad's saying "Go and put a peak on your helmet dickhead or I'll put my foot straight through the tank of that bucket-a-puss..." :D

"Be careful Pops, that's an MX250 with a steel tank, not one of those flimsy Monty fibreglass jobbies. And that's his mate on another MX250 the other side of you. Give any more lip Pops and we'll put you over the berm at the first corner" :D ;D

JEREMY HEALY MCRCV I think I may have been #765. Great memories!

"Yeah. Well. When you and your girlfriend Sally there come in 40th and 41st respectively and I've had a five minute rest I'll take your MX's and give 'em the Kenny Baker 'Luv Hug'. After that they'll be recycled into door panels for a Datsun 120Y....."

Thanks KB. I was out on the number also the placing. I do remember I got $4- for my efforts. (I've got the reciept!) Appreciate you digging a bit deeper to find my name. One day when I get smart enough I'm going to upload a couple of programs and photos I've got from here and OS. Thanks again. Jerry
